Abstract: The geological condition of Murrey River Coal-Mine is introduced, the technical difficulties in the whole-rock tunnel with steep slope is analyzed and the equipment and construction?scheme based on EBH315 type road-header is proposed and development to it combined with the special requirements of Murrey River Coal-Mine has been conducted.Finally the application of EBH315 type road-header in the whole-rock tunnel with steep slope in Canadian Murrey River Coal-Mine is summarized.The study can provide experience for improving the efficiency of steep slope excavation under similar conditions.
